4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Deivi Garcia struggled in his spring training debut on Thursday, allowing two solo home runs over two innings. Garcia's command appeared to be somewhat shaky after he left a handful of pitches over the heart of the plate, but he did generate a 33% swinging-strike rate and picked up three strikeouts, leaving little for fantasy managers to be concerned about. One of the team's top prospects, Garcia is fighting for a job in the Yankees rotation, and a strong spring performance could go a long way towards earning that job. The uncertainty surrounding Garcia's role makes his 342 ADP a little pricey, but Garcia boasts impressive upside and is worth a look from fantasy managers as a result.--Sam Chinitz
