4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Deivi Garcia was recalled from the team's alternate site on Monday ahead of his start against the Orioles. Manager Aaron Boone had tabbed Garcia over the weekend as a possible candidate to start if the Yankees went to a six-man rotation for the coming week- and the move is now official. It's unclear how long Garcia will be with the big club, but he is lined up for a good performance right off the bat against an Orioles' lineup that has posted the third-worst OPS and struck out the ninth-most times in the majors this year. He should be on the streaming radar in redraft leagues as well as a potential DFS play on Monday night.--Tim Capurso
