4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Deivi Garcia struggled on Wednesday, allowing four runs over three innings with seven hard-hit balls allowed. Manager Aaron Boone remarked that Garcia's pitches lacked their usual life on Wednesday, and the numbers back that up as Garcia's fastball got less "rise" than usual on Wednesday. Garcia remains unlikely to make the team's Opening Day roster and even less likely to start the season in the team's starting rotation, so fantasy managers should avoid drafting him as anything other than a stash for a possible mid-season role if the team struggles with injuries.--Sam Chinitz
