6 years agoFor the first time in nearly a full calendar year, Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas topped 100 yards receiving Sunday in the Broncos Week 5 loss to the New York Jets. Thomas brought in five of six targets on the day for 105 yards and even added a late 42-yard touchdown for good measure. The production is encouraging -- given his numbers this season -- but most of his production came in garbage-time and the scoreboard dictated a pass-heavy game script which isn't likely to be the norm moving forward.--Leonard Francis II
