6 years agoAfter grabbing six passes for 63 yards and a touchdown Sunday afternoon, Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas is on pace to finish the 2018 season with 1,008 yards and 16 touchdowns. Expecting 16 TDs is a bit absurd. However, expecting more than the 63 yards he accrued in Week 1 is anything but. Thomas saw a 25.6 percent target share in Week 1 (20th at WR) after seeing 10 targets, and outside of Emmanuel Sanders, only one Broncos WR saw more than two (Courtland Sutton with five). Don't expect a shortage of opportunity for Thomas anytime soon, and against a Raiders defense which was one of the most generous to opposing WRs in Week 1, we could be in for a circa-2014 performance from Demaryius in Week 2.--Leonard Francis II
