6 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Denard Span has been a welcome addition to the lineup since being acquired from the Rays at the end of May. In 50 at-bats with his new team, Span is slashing .320/.382/.500 with an OPS of .882. He has at least one hit in nine of his last 11 games played and has always posted above average numbers when it comes to getting on base, The Mariners will travel to New York to take on the Yankees Tuesday night and five of Span's six home runs have come on the road this season. The veteran hitter has added some juice to the bottom half of a much improved Mariners offense in 2018 and his fantasy value is slowly on the rise.--Joey C - RotoBaller
