Denny Hamlin Could Disappoint At Texas
4 years agoJoe Gibbs Racing's Denny Hamlin is one of the highest-priced drivers on Sunday's slate for the O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. He's also one of the riskiest DFS options because of his price. Why, when Hamlin has already won four times this year? Because his performance at the 1.5-mile tracks like Texas that are often referred to as "cookie cutter" tracks has been largely disappointing. In five races on this track type, Hamlin has yet to lead a lap and has three finishes outside of the top 10. These have been the one place where Hamlin hasn't excelled, and if that trend continues, his placement in your DFS lineup might lead to a lot of disappointment.
