4 years agoHamlin qualified in 10th but poor showings in the duels caused him to tumble down to 25th on the starting grid Sunday. The driver has shown an ability to win at Daytona -- winning three times overall. That includes winning the signature race in 2016, 2019, and 2020. The 2019 win saw Hamlin come from 21st and triumph in stirring fashion. He has a few top-five's beside the wins since 2014.
