3 years agoSome will believe that Denny Hamlin could be a risky proposition this weekend. If one has him to win, then that is a yes. However, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver should have the car to at least contend. The No, 11 car was fifth in the last two road races and third way back at Daytona in February. Many forget he led five laps in that Daytona race before being surprised by Christopher Bell. Hamlin has led 777 laps without winning a race in 2021. That is seventh all-time in NASCAR in laps led with a checkered flag. Expect Hamlin to find a way to stay close all afternoon. This is just an 82-lap race so the hope is for shorter runs which is something Hamlin excels on. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
