3 years agoDenny Hamlin did not have the best car out there but in the end, he had the best finishing Joe Gibbs Racing car. He finished fifth on Sunday and bolstered his chances of making the Championship Four at Phoenix in two weeks. The No. 11 car is now 32 points ahead of the "Chase Bubble" as Martinsville looms. That, in theory, should be enough of a cushion. One never knows but Hamlin has now set himself up well as he survived the carnage at Kansas just well enough. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
