3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Denzel Mims could have a tough time receiving reps during Sunday's Week 2 contest against the Patriots, according to offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur. The potential returns of Keelan Cole Sr. and Jamison Crowder coupled with Mims' absence at OTAs and minicamp significantly factor into the amount of reps he can expect. The 23-year-old played five percent of snaps last week, hauling in his lone target for 40 yards. Through nine games as a rookie last year, he caught 23 passes for 357 yards.
