2 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Denzel Mims has not requested a trade and is not expected to do so, according to Connor Hughes of The Athletic. Mims' agent was at Jets training camp today and a report surfaced suggesting Mims might look to be dealt, but Hughes clarifies that's not the case. The 24-year-old has suffered from a lack of both playing time and production through two pro seasons, catching just 31 passes for 490 yards over the course of 20 games. It's hard to imagine he'll have much of a role this coming season now that he's blocked on the roster by breakout receiver Elijah Moore, rookie Garrett Wilson, veteran Corey Davis, gadget player Braxton Berrios, and others.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
