2 years agoCleveland Browns cornerback Denzel Ward (foot), who is in a protective boot after suffering a foot injury on the final day of mandatory minicamp on June 16, said he'll "be good" for training camp next month, although he was hesitant to say he'd be ready for the start of camp. Ward described his injury as a sore left foot. The 25-year-old was named to his second Pro Bowl in 2021 after he recorded 43 tackles (34 solo), three interceptions (one for a touchdown), 10 passes defensed and half a sack in 15 starts for Cleveland. It led to a five-year, $100.5 million contract extension in April. Ward's foot doesn't have any structural damage, so as long as he doesn't have a setback in training camp, he should be ready for Week 1.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
