6 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Dereck Rodriguez is expected to be OK after getting X-rays back negative on his right leg. Rodriguez went 3 1/3 innings, allowing four runs (one earned) on four strikeouts in relief of the injured Jeff Samardzija on Tuesday. Rodriguez is considered day-to-day. He has zero fantasy value pitching in relief, but perhaps he's used in a spot start with the Shark expected to miss at least one start.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
