Derek Carr Agrees To Three-Year Extension
3 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders and quarterback Derek Carr agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $121.5 million on Wednesday, according to a source. The deal ties Carr to the Raiders through the 2025 season. He is already the longest-tenured quarterback in the AFC. Carr's new extension also includes a no-trade clause. The 31-year-old has improved in recent seasons and now has arguably the NFL's best receiver at his disposal in Davante Adams, not to mention one of the best tight ends around in Darren Waller. The former second-round pick in 2014 threw for a career-high 4,804 yards, 23 touchdowns and 14 interceptions on 626 attempts in 17 games last year, and fantasy managers may finally be able to call him a realistic QB1 in 2022.
