6 years agoOakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr is not expected to play much in Friday's preseason opener versus the Detroit Lions. Raiders Coach Jon Gruden was quoted as saying, "...You're not going to play your starters. If you do, you're not going to play them very much..", according to Paul Gutierrez, ESPN.com. Carr is coming off a somewhat disappointing fantasy year which was derailed by injuries.
