Derek Carr Notches TD In Lone Drive Of Game
5 years agoOakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr had a short, but successful day at the office Thursday as he marched the offense down the field for a touchdown in his only drive of the game. Carr capped the six-play 75-yard drive with a 13-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Grant, finishing the game 2-for-2 for 40 yards. The offense as a whole looked good with their projected starters sans Antonio Brown out there for the opening drive of the game, something that was seldom seen in 2018. Carr has appeared more comfortable and confident so far in his second season under Jon Gruden, and has the weapons around him to return to fantasy relevance in 2019. He makes a decent late-round target in two-QB leagues and could enter the single-QB conversation during the season.
