6 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman/outfielder Derek Dietrich and first baseman Jesse Winker will get the night off against St. Louis Cardinals rookie left-hander Genesis Cabrera on Tuesday. Kyle Farmer will slide in at second and bat seventh while Jose Peraza will man left and bat eighth. Farmer, who has gone .303/.343/.667 to go along with three home runs, 10 RBI and three stolen bases over 33 plate appearances against left-handed pitching this season, could be an intriguing DFS value option against Cabrera, whose first major league start went as well as could be expected for a player called up after posting a 6.35 ERA in Triple-A.--Joseph Magazzinich
