3 years agoKansas City Chiefs backup running back Derrick Gore saw an expanded role in Week 16 with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (collarbone) exiting early versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. Gore was quiet before CEH went down, but would finish the contest with 12 carries for 43 yards and three receptions for 61 yards. Much of Gore's work came with CEH sidelined and the score very much out of reach for the Steelers, but managers should still note that he had one more carry than Darrel Williams. More should be known on CEH's status ahead of a Week 17 matchup versus the Cincinnati Bengals, but Gore is worth stashing with the understanding that Williams would likely be the lead back in the backfield if Edwards-Helaire is unable to suit up.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
