5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Derrius Guice saw a relatively even split with Adrian Peterson out of the backfield in Week 11, and with Chris Thompson potentially returning this week, Guice's workload could suffer even more. The Redskins have nothing to play for, so it stands to reason that they will continue to ease Guice into a featured role as opposed to throwing him to the wolves. Expect Peterson to continue cutting into Guice's volume, with Thompson possibly reclaiming his role in the pass-catching department. Detroit has been exploitable on the ground, but Guice's sample of work is just too narrow to trust him on a limited touch count. Start him only as a flex if you must.--Chris O'Reilly
