DeSean Jackson Headed Back To The Eagles
6 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded wide receiver DeSean Jackson and a seventh-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft on Monday to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a sixth-round pick in 2019. Jackson has agreed to restructure his deal and he will receive $13 million guaranteed for the upcoming season. D-Jax slipped to 41 grabs for 774 yards with four touchdowns in 2018, although he averaged 18.9 yards per catch which was his highest since 2014. He had three 1,000-yard seasons as a member of the Eagles from 2008-13, and he wanted out of Tampa Bay bad. Perhaps the move back to his comfort zone will get him back into that 50-55 grab, 1,000-yard and five or six touchdown range in 2019. Draft him as a WR4 with some upside, even at 32 years of age.
