4 years agoThe Houston Texans and quarterback Deshaun Watson have agreed to a four-year, $160 million extension. The deal locks Watson in as Houston's franchise quarterback for the next few seasons while also giving him a chance to earn another big contract from the team in the future. Houston spent their offseason making some head-scratching moves with their skill position players that prompted some to wonder about Watson's future with the team, but it appears he's in Houston to stay. Despite the departure of DeAndre Hopkins, the Texans and head coach/GM Bill O'Brien had put a lot of vertical threats around Watson, which should help him maintain his spot as a top-five fantasy quarterback despite the loss of his biggest weapon.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
