3 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson could be a healthy scratch every week, per Aaron Wilson of Sports Talk 790. This report builds on a previous one that stated the Texans would be prepared to place Watson on the active roster- though it's becoming increasingly likely that he won't be suiting up for the Texans this year, or any team, for that matter, with an investigation on sexual assault allegations looming. Tyrod Taylor will be the team's starter for the 2021 season and should be considered nothing more than a low-end QB2, given the Texans' lack of weapons. Watson, who has a pending trade request issued, would be paid his $10.54 million salary this season. There are too many off-the-field question marks surrounding him to stash him in fantasy football.--Tim Capurso
