Deshaun Watson Expected To Be Good For OTAs
7 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson (knee) is expected to take part in 7-on-7 drills during organized team activities, according to a source. Watson's rehab is going very well, so it looks like he'll be ready for a full workload in training camp, barring any setbacks. In seven games in his rookie season, Watson shined, posting a 61.8 completion percentage for 1,699 yards, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also rushed 36 times for 269 yards (7.5 yards per carry) for another two scores. If fully healthy, the sky is the limit for Watson, and he has one of the best receivers at his disposal in DeAndre Hopkins. However, he hasn't played a full season yet in the NFL and could be heavily overvalued as a QB1 based on what he did in only seven games in 2017.
