5 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson faces the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2, a matchup that's tough to draw conclusions from early in this NFL season. Jacksonville has been one of the NFL's best defenses for the past two years, a fact that would ordinarily limit Watson's upside and make him a low-end QB1. But the Jaguars were just torched in Week 1 by Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, which could mean that 2019 will be a year of drop-off for this defensive unit. It could also just mean that Mahomes in the best quarterback in the NFL and have no effect on the Jaguars moving forward.
