Deshaun Watson Will Report To Texans Camp
3 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson will report to training camp on Sunday. The star signal-caller requested a trade back in January, and since then, he has been caught up in controversy after 23 lawsuits were filed against him for alleged sexual assault. However, under the new collective bargaining agreement, Watson would face a $50,000 fine for each day he didn't report, which unlike in previous years, couldn't be forgiven. Nonetheless, the 25-year-old has been an effective fantasy option at the position over the years, finishing the 2020 campaign with nearly 5,000 passing yards, 33 touchdowns, and seven interceptions while adding 444 yards and three scores on the ground. Although the latest development would seem to indicate he will be with the team when the regular season begins in September, nothing has changed regarding his desire to play for a new club. The former Pro Bowler may also be facing a suspension, something that would also undoubtedly impact his fantasy stock.
