Deshazor Everett Charged With Involuntary Manslaughter
3 years agoWashington Commanders safety Deshazor Everett has been charged with involuntary manslaughter stemming from a December car crash last year that killed his girlfriend, Olivia Peters, who was riding in the car he was driving. Everett was released on bond after appearing in court and being charged with involuntary manslaughter. The 29-year-old served as Washington's special teams captain last season and finished with only 10 tackles (five solo) in 14 games played. Everett played a total of 40 defensive snaps in three games for Washington in 2021. In his seven years with the team, Everett has 170 tackles (119 solo), two tackles for loss, two interceptions and two forced fumbles in 89 games (17 starts).
