5 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Deshone Kizer started for the Green Bay Packers in the preseason opener against the Houston Texans. Kizer threw the ball 13 times completing eight passes for 102 yards and a single touchdown, also adding three yards on the ground. Kizer was given limited opportunity to impress- but certainly looked impressive in his movement in the pocket. The signal-caller is highly unlikely to unseat quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but given this early performance, Kizer certainly looks to be the second string option for the team.--Richard King - RotoBaller
