Desmond Ridder Impresses With Speed At Combine
3 years agoCincinnati quarterback Desmond Ridder had a 4.52-second 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine on Thursday, which was better than 12 wide receivers. The 6-foot-3, 211-pound signal-caller had accuracy issues last year, but some scouts think he can correct it with more consistent footwork in the pocket. With that said, it's likely that some teams would be comfortable taking him in the first round of this year's draft. Ridder has been impressive in Indianapolis this week and has shown the arm strength to push the ball down the field. With his combination of speed and arm strength, Ridder could be a sleeper at his position in the 2022 draft.
