Detroit Lions Defense Performs Admirably Against Bills
6 years agoThe Detroit Lions defense/special teams surrendered just 14 points in a tough 14-13 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The Lions held the Josh Allen-led Bills to just 312 yards of total offense in the loss, but they weren't able to force any turnovers in the effort; something they have done at least once in each of the previous four games. While it was a low-scoring affair, the Lions offense did their defense no favors by not being able to extend the lead they obtained in the second quarter. Detroit will have their hands full with the Minnesota Vikings in Week 16, after the Vikings scored 41 points and totaled 418 yards of offense in their Week 15 win. The Lions should not be considered as a valuable streamer for your championship matchup.
