DeVante Parker Held To One Catch In Friday's Win

2 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver DeVante Parker caught one of two targets or 17 yards in Friday's 20-10 preseason win over the Carolina Panthers. He was limited to one catch but was on the field for the team's first two drives. The 29-year-old logged 11 snaps and had seven routes run in Friday's contest. He is New England's WR1 and could be second-year quarterback Mac Jones' top target in 2022, but he is competing with Jakobi Meyers, Nelson Agholor, Tyquan Thornton, and Kendrick Bourne for targets. Parker is expected to be available for the team's final preseason game against the Las Vegas Raiders next week and will look to rebound from Friday's sub=par performance.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
