Devante Parker Scores in First Miami Win of Season
5 years agoExperiencing a win for the first time in 2019, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker caught a touchdown pass for the fourth time in five weeks, scoring 11 points in standard leagues in a 26-18 victory over the New York Jets. Parker caught 4-of-6 targets for 57 yards and connected with quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick on a 17-yard score midway through the second quarter. Once thought likely to be traded by the rebuilding Dolphins, Parker is second on the team in targets and could see a bump in usage if teammate Preston Williams is forced to miss any time with a knee injury suffered in the Dolphins win. If Williams is unable to go, Parker moves into WR3/4 territory, with the Dolphins heading into a Week 10 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.
