Devin Duvernay Returns To Practice
2 years agoBaltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (thigh) returned to practice on Saturday at training camp after missing the last five days with a thigh bruise. He's currently listed as the starting receiver alongside Rashod Bateman on Baltimore's depth chart. Duvernay should have added opportunities in the passing game in 2022 with Marquise Brown now in Arizona, but third-year receiver James Proche II has been lights-out in training camp and will also be competing for targets behind No. 1 Bateman. The 24-year-old caught 33 of his 47 targets for 272 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games (seven starts) in his second NFL season, but despite the bigger role in this run-first offense, he should be left to the waiver wire in standard 12-team leagues to open the year.
