5 years agoMinnesota Twins left-hander Devin Smeltzer struggled in a 5-2 loss to the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday. Smeltzer allowed five runs in 6 1/3 innings of work while striking out two and walking three. All of the damage off of Smeltzer came via the homer as he served up four to the Cleveland batters. The rookie hurler looked good in his debut last week but Tuesday's start was a good reminder that, like most rookies, he is going to have some rough days. Smeltzer might be heading back to the minors this week, depending on Michael Pineda's status.--Matt T - RotoBaller
