4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers right-handed reliever Devin Williams has been left off of the Brewers' roster for their wild-card series against the top-seeded Los Angeles Dodgers. He is reportedly dealing with an arm issue. This is a brutal blow to the Brewers and their chances in the postseason. In 2020, Williams broke out to the tune of a 0.33 ERA, 0.63 WHIP, and 53 strikeouts in 27 innings pitched. He was arguably the best reliever in baseball, despite not working as a closer for Milwaukee. Hopefully, the injury is not serious and will not impact his availability in later rounds should the Brewers advance, or his 2021 season.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
