2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers pitcher Devin Williams struck out the side over a scoreless inning to earn the save during Thursday's 5-3 win against the Los Angeles Dodgers. He entered the game in the ninth inning to protect a two-run lead. The 27-year-old needed 12 pitches to notch his eighth save of the year. He hasn't allowed a run over his last seven appearances. The 2020 National League Rookie of the Year owns a 1.55 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, and a 75:19 K: BB across 46 1/3 innings in 2022.
