6 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays placed second baseman Devon Travis (knee) on the 60-day injured list on Monday, making room on the 40-man roster for newcomer Daniel Hudson, who will work out of the bullpen. Travis has been sidelined since early March due to inflammation in his left knee and he is reportedly sidelined indefinitely. While he had an MRI three weeks ago which revealed no structural damage, he has had several surgeries on those knees and it's not a huge surprise. Travis has averaged just 85 games played over his past three seasons due to a myriad of ailments. The Jays have a bunch of young infield talent making their way up the ranks, including prospect Vladimir Guerrero Jr., so Travis' outlook in Toronto looks very murky for 2019. For fantasy purposes, he is only worth a look in deeper AL-only leagues when healthy.--Daniel Dobish
