Devon Travis’ Hit Streak Snapped At Six Games
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis hasn’t been very good in 2018, but he’s had a pretty solid month of June. After picking up two hits in three straight games from June 15-17, Travis’ streak was snapped before starting a new one. The latter lasted for five games, ending on Tuesday against the Houston Astros in an 0-for-3 effort. While Travis’ overall numbers are far from eye-popping, he did manage to raise his slash line a bit, going from .205/.264/.313 (.577 OPS) on June 13 to his current line of .228/.277/.389 (.666 OPS). He’s still going to need to do a lot more before he can get back into fantasy relevance, however.
