Devon Travis Smashes Grand Slam In Loss
6 years agoWe haven’t heard the name of Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis in a while, but the 27-year-old hasn’t done much of note as of late. Until Wednesday, that is. In a 9-5 loss to the Atlanta Braves, Travis finished 1-for-3 with a grand slam. It was Travis’ first bomb since June 24. Travis now owns a .230/.283/.388 (.670 OPS) slash line on the year to go along with six home runs, 21 runs scored, 23 RBI, and one stolen base across 178 at-bats. Although he has torn up fantasy circles multiple times in the past, he’s not worth holding in any format until we see him perform like this more consistently.
