Devonta Freeman Falls Flat In Big Blue Debut
4 years agoNew York Giants running back Devonta Freeman rushed for 10 yards on five carries in his first game with the team. Freeman was not targeted in the passing game. The small silver-lining for fantasy managers is Freeman's five carries was tied for the team lead, but New York was not able to run the ball as they trailed by multiple touchdowns most of the afternoon. At this point, no one in the Giants backfield looks like a viable fantasy asset as no Giant running back has rushed for more than 30 yards in a game. Freeman should not be started in a Week 4 matchup versus a good Rams run defense.
