Devonta Freeman Goes For 61 Yards Versus Washington
4 years agoNew York Giants running back Devonta Freeman handled 18 carries for 61 yards in a win over Washington Sunday. Freeman caught his only target for minus-four yards. The former Falcon was the only Giant running back to record a rush attempt as this is clearly Freeman's backfield. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, the Giants offense has struggled this season so Freeman won't have as much upside as other lead backs playing behind New York's shakey offensive line. While Freeman led the way this Sunday, expect Wayne Gallman and Dion Lewis to be more involved in Week 7 as New York will have a short week with a Thursday game scheduled against the Eagles.
