Devonta Freeman Handles 15 Touches At The Rams
4 years agoNew York Giants running back Devonta Freeman led the backfield in touches in his second game with Big Blue. Freeman rushed for 33 yards on 11 carries and added 35 receiving yards while catching all four of his targets out of the backfield. While Freeman led the backfield in touches, Wayne Gallman outgained Freeman on the ground with 45 rushing yards, and Dion Lewis was involved as well with a carry and three targets. No Giants running back, Saquon Barkley included, has rushed for more than 50 yards in a game this season, so it's hard to trust any of them at this point. Freeman, however, has the best track record as a feature back and getting more work in his second game is a good sign for fantasy managers. Freeman will be an RB3 in a good matchup next week versus a Cowboys Defense that just allowed 307 rushing yards to Cleveland.
