Devonta Freeman Leads Team To A Late Victory On Sunday
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Devonta Freeman finished with 49 yards off 16 carries during the win over Chicago in Week 11. The 29-year-old also scored a touchdown, and it was an important one, finding the end zone off a three-yard run late in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. As expected, he split touches with backup signal-caller Tyler Huntley and Latavius Murray, who returned from the ankle injury that sidelined him since Week 6. However, it's apparent Freeman is currently the team's unofficial lead option out of the backfield. Nonetheless, despite the anticipated timeshare with Murray and Lamar Jackson moving ahead, he does possess flex appeal in most formats for the Thursday Night Football showdown against Cleveland in Week 12.
