6 years agoAtlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said running back Devonta Freeman (foot, groin) and kicker Matt Bryant (hamstring) are both likely to be out for Week 7 against the Giants on Monday night. Bryant suffered a strained hamstring on his final kick in the Week 6 win over the Buccaneers. Freeman is set to miss his second straight game after returning in Week 5 following a three-game absence with a knee injury. He just can't seem to stay healthy this year. Although Tevin Coleman didn't do much with a bigger role in Week 6, he'll once again be on the RB2 map against a Giants team that allows 28.8 fantasy points per game to the position. Rookie Ito Smith would once again be a touchdown-dependent flex in deeper leagues. Bryant, despite his age, remains a valuable fantasy kicker, although it looks like his owners will have to go in a different direction this week. Expect Atlanta to sign another booter this week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
