6 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman (foot) remains absent from practice on Friday, meaning that it's unlikely he'll suit up in Week 6 against the Buccaneers. Freeman was making a return in Week 5 after a three-game absence due to a knee injury he suffered in the season opener, and now it looks like he'll miss another game. It's not expected to be a long-term injury though, so he could be back in Week 7 if he's inactive this Sunday. In a great matchup, Tevin Coleman would be a strong RB2 if Freeman is out, with rookie Ito Smith backing him up.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
