3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver DeVonta Smith (headache) will look for some consistency in a Week 8 matchup against the winless Detroit Lions. The rookie missed Wednesday's practice due to a headache but was back on the field on Thursday and should be fine to suit up for Sunday's contest. Smith's rookie season has had plenty of ups and downs, but it's been mostly due to being part of a Jalen Hurts-led Eagles offense. Smith has shown that he has talent to spare, but the Eagles have fallen into some serious passing game struggles, with Hurts underthrowing and overthrowing his receivers on routine passing routes. Smith will continue to have WR2 upside any given week, but settles in as a WR3 with a concerning floor.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
