7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dexter Fowler (foot) was diagnosed with a fractured left foot and will go on the disabled list. It will give Fowler a much-needed break, as he is hitting a rough .180/.278/.298 with eight home runs and 31 RBI in 334 plate appearances this year. It's unknown how long Fowler will need to recover from this injury, but the Cards have no reason to rush him back with the way he's been playing this year. If you haven't already done so in mixed leagues, it's officially time to cut bait. Both Harrison Bader and Tyler O'Neill should see everyday playing time now alongside Marcell Ozuna.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
