Dexter Fowler Hits Winning Home Run In Extra Innings
6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dexter Fowler hit a two-run home run in the 11th inning to give the Cardinals the lead. They held onto that lead and picked up the win against the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday. That was his only hit of the night, but he did walk twice as well. The veteran outfielder is having his worst season yet with a slash line of .179/.272/.308. He hasn't been using his speed on the bases much this year. Part of that's because he isn't on base as much. However, he picked up his fourth stolen base Tuesday night. He should continue to see regular playing time despite some poor production.
