6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dexter Fowler will be on the bench for Monday's game against Hyun-Jin Ryu and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Fowler is carrying a dismal .182 average through 31 plate appearances this season with no RBI. Jose Martinez will start in right field and bat third. Fowler was awful offensively in 2018 and the early returns in 2019 suggest nothing has changed. Martinez should get more playing time with Fowler's struggles, despite some defensive inefficiencies of his own. Martinez is a worthy DFS option on Monday's slate.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
