3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Didi Gregorius went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a win over the Pirates on Thursday. The blast was Gregorius' 12th of the season as he's displayed decent power despite rough numbers overall. The veteran shortstop is batting just .210 on the season and his .270 on-base percentage simply won't get it done. His 16.9% strikeout rate is better than the league average, but it still represents a career-worst for Gregorius and the extra K's have sapped him of fantasy value in any format. Managers can confidently leave Gregorius on waivers heading into the last week of the regular season.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
